This set is probably a little big if you're just cooking 1 meal for 2 people, but if you cook a soup to save for the week or a pasta for the week, or for a bigger group or family, this is an IDEAL set. The pieces do fit together very nicely, and the only thing to take into account is storage space. Otherwise, if you're thinking about it, this is a great value!

I've had one of these, an 8-qt. aluminum pot, for many years. I decided to indulge in the stainless steel because tomatoes and apples can not be cooked in aluminum pots. Definitely worth the money.

We bought this to replace an enamel coated pasta/steamer. The Cuisinart set is constructed well for the price, but be warned that the polished surfaces on the exterior will scratch very easily. The interiors have a brushed finish so don't show scratches as much.
